I'm making an executive decision. Next years Christmas will be different. The only mention of Christ all day was Jonathan and I sining carols in the car.
Next year there will be no gifts Christmas day, we will do them a different day and our day is going to be centered where it should be. The gifts and family stress ruin the day for me.
It may not be Christ's actual birthday, but I would like to celebrate it for what it is supposed to represent, not a gift and stress free for all.

I totally agree. The stress and gifts this year were overwhelming, and there wasn't much joy sometimes.
